Accounting Manager
Main responsibilities:
- Engaging with the accounting cycle and taxation
- Supporting the entry of documents in double-entry books
- Bank reconciliations, customer and supplier account reconciliations
- Monitoring and managing customer balances
- Preparation of VAT, withholding tax, VIES declarations
- Handling all kinds of withholding taxes, stamp duties, municipal taxes, INTRASTAT / LISTING forms
- Preparation of consolidated statements, inventories, fixed asset register
- Management of accounting results
- Coordination, supervision, and training of the accounting team
- Monthly and annual reporting to the management (indicators, financial, etc.)
Position requirements:
- University degree (AEI/TEI/IEK) in Economics or Accounting
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in managing and training an accounting team
- Excellent knowledge of the accounting cycle (double-entry books) and tax legislation
- Proficient in computer use and MS Office
- Familiarity with accounting software and/or ERP systems
- Very good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form
- Developed communication skills, adaptability, dynamism, teamwork, and leadership
- Organizational skills, proper prioritization and task allocation, familiarity with meeting deadlines
- Insight, initiative, attention to detail, reliability, confidentiality.
