Payroll Consultant - Athens

Fovera Prostasia S.A., a rapidly growing provider of accounting, tax, payroll and business consulting services, is seeking a Payroll Consultant to join its team in Athens.

If you are looking for your next career opportunity in payroll and have solid experience in payroll administration, employment and social security legislation, and client advisory services, we would be delighted to hear from you.

In this role, you will manage the end-to-end payroll process for a portfolio of clients while working alongside an experienced team in a modern and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage, prepare and process client payroll.
Record payroll data, calculate salaries and contributions, and manage the Digital Work Card process.
Provide advisory support to clients on employment and social security legislation.
Prepare payroll reports and client deliverables.
Handle payroll-related enquiries and maintain daily communication with clients.
Manage payroll compliance procedures, including EFKA, withholding taxes and related obligations.
Liaise with public authorities, including ERGANI and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

At least two years of dedicated payroll experience.
Proven ability to manage payroll independently.
Strong practical knowledge of Greek employment and social security legislation.
Daily use of the ERGANI information system.
Very good knowledge of Epsilon Net payroll software.
Experience with labour inspections and EFKA compliance.

This Role Is Not Suitable For

HR professionals with limited or supporting involvement in payroll.
Accountants without hands-on experience managing payroll independently.
Junior candidates or applicants with limited professional experience.
