A’ CLASS AUDITING ACCOUNTANT


Responsibilities

  • Regular visits to clients' premises, keeping them informed about their tax/accounting status, providing consulting services in accounting/taxation
  • Overseeing the operation of clients' internal accounting department, guiding proper task execution
  • Extracting monthly results and presenting them to the client
  • Balance sheet verification and reconciliations
  • Closures, preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements)
  • Preparing annual tax returns for businesses
  • Recording documents in Category C books when necessary
  • Resolving complex accounting entry and representation issues
  • Preparing tax planning for clients to optimize their tax and insurance burden or for distribution matters
  • Communicating with certified accountants to handle any pending matters (for clients subject to such audits)
  • Proposing company conversions based on appropriate provisions to safeguard the client's interests.


Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree from a university or technological educational institute (AEI/TEI) in economics or accounting. A postgraduate degree in the field of auditing-accounting will be appreciated.
    • At least 6 years of experience in an auditing or accounting-tax firm with relevant responsibilities.
    • Excellent knowledge of the accounting cycle and tax legislation for individuals and legal entities.
    • Proficient in MS Office, Gmail, ERPs, and preferably CRM systems.
    • Very good command of English.
    • Strong communication skills and a dynamic personality.
    • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
    • Adaptability, teamwork, consistency, attention to detail.
    • Business acumen.
    • Valid driver's license.
