Senior Accountant – Supervisor

Fovera Prostasia S.A., a company providing accounting, tax, payroll, and consulting services, based in Heraklion, Crete, is seeking a:

Senior Accountant – Supervisor

Involvement in the full accounting cycle and tax compliance for individuals and legal entities.
Updating and monitoring the financial results of clients’ single-entry or double-entry accounting books.
Keeping existing clients informed through regular visits regarding their current financial and tax status, as well as their obligations toward social security and other public authorities.
Reviewing, preparing, and submitting tax returns for individuals and partnerships.
Recording accounting documents in single-entry or double-entry accounting systems, calculating and submitting tax obligations (VAT, Intrastat, VIES/Listing, Municipal Taxes), updating monthly results, and supporting the preparation and submission of tax forms (E1, E3, N) for existing clients.
Supervising the operation of the client’s internal accounting department and providing guidance for the proper execution of accounting procedures.
Reviewing and reconciling trial balances.
Resolving complex accounting recording and reporting issues.

Degree (University / Technological Institute / Vocational Institute) in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role within an accounting or tax consulting firm.
Strong knowledge of the accounting cycle (single-entry and double-entry bookkeeping) and tax legislation for individuals and legal entities.
Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and CRM systems.
Familiarity with accounting software and/or ERP systems.
Very good command of English.
Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion.
Adaptability, analytical thinking, diplomacy, and a proactive attitude.
Willingness for professional growth and continuous learning.
Valid driver’s license.
