Fovera Prostasia S.A., a consulting services company, is seeking an Internal Accounting Officer on behalf of its client, based in Athens.

Internal Accounting Officer - Athens
Key Responsibilities
- Register and reconcile accounting documents and invoices.
- File and maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Record financial transactions in internal accounting systems.
- Prepare weekly income and expense reports.
- Prepare VAT and withholding tax returns.
- Issue invoices and manage billing procedures.
- Reconcile customer and supplier balances and monitor outstanding accounts.
- Communicate with public authorities when required.
- Submit accounting documents to the myDATA platform.
- Collect and organize documentation required for participation in funding programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an internal accounting department.
- Experience using ERP systems, preferably Entersoft.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.
- Knowledge of invoicing and cost accounting.
- Good understanding of Greek tax and social insurance legislation.
- Good command of the English language.
