Assistant Accountant - Larissa

Key Responsibilities

• Support and participate in the accounting cycle of business clients.
• Maintain and update single-entry and double-entry bookkeeping records.
• Record accounting documents and financial transactions.
• Calculate and submit tax and statutory obligations.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns for individuals and legal entities.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely client service.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field (University, Technological Institute or Vocational Institute).
• At least three years of experience in a similar role, ideally within an accounting or tax consulting firm.
• Very good knowledge of the accounting cycle and Greek tax legislation.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Very good command of MS Office.
• Good command of English.
• Strong organisational skills, reliability, consistency and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with platforms such as myDATA.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software (e.g. SoftOne, Epsilon Net or equivalent).
