Accounting Supervisor

Fovera Prostasia S.A., a rapidly growing provider of accounting, tax, payroll and business consulting services, is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join its team in Thessaloniki.

In this role, you will oversee the accounting cycle of business clients, providing high-quality accounting and tax advisory services while working alongside an experienced team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting and tax services for individuals and legal entities.
  • Monitor and review single-entry and double-entry bookkeeping records.
  • Conduct regular client visits and provide updates on accounting, tax and statutory obligations.
  • Prepare, review and submit tax returns for individuals and partnerships.
  • Record accounting transactions, calculate and submit tax obligations, including VAT, Intrastat, Listings and municipal taxes, and prepare tax forms (E1, E3 and Corporate Tax Returns).
  • Supervise clients' internal accounting departments and provide guidance on accounting and tax procedures.
  • Perform account reconciliations.
  • Resolve complex accounting and financial reporting matters.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an accounting or tax consulting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of the accounting cycle and Greek tax legislation.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, CRM systems and accounting software or ERP platforms.
  • Very good command of English.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability, initiative and a proactive mindset.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Valid driving licence.
